Acquittal on Kidnapping and Firearm Counts (E.D. Pa.) – 10/27/26
My client was tried before Chief Judge Wendy Beetlestone on a four-count indictment charging carjacking, two counts of kidnapping, and using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence. He faced more than 20 years in prison, including a seven-year mandatory minimum sentence on the firearm count that would have run consecutive to any other sentence. The jury acquitted him of both kidnapping counts and the firearm count. The verdict on the remaining count reduces his sentencing exposure by approximately 15 years.

Full Acquittal in Healthcare Fraud Case – 4/15/25
Following a four-week jury trial in federal court (E.D.Pa.), Maggie Grasso won a full acquittal for her client, a foreign medical graduate, charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and wire fraud, health care fraud and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances outside the usual course of professional practice and for no legitimate medical purpose.
